Dear Leo, Marc, Hena, Freddy and Nicolò, it's with great pain and sorrow that we learn of Steve's passing away. Though we know that words are useless, we want to send you our love and deepest condolences. We were blessed and lucky enough to know him and to have spent an entire afternoon with him, talking about his greatest passions: music and life. Nothing can compare to your loss, but for what it's woth, you are not alone in this dark hour. We, your grateful fans, are by your side and always will be. May Steve's soul forever rest in peace.

Fassungslosigkeit, Entsetzen und die quälende Frage nach dem Warum. Mit Steve verlieren wir einen der allerbesten Rockmusiker. Wir werden ihm ein immerwährendes Andenken bewahren, verbunden mit der tiefen Dankbarkeit für all das, was er uns hinterlassen hat.
