It's been 15 years now. It was not long since I had discovered the band and I was amazed by your performance and how warm as a person you must have been. When the news hit me, they hit me hard. You are and will always be an inspiration to singing and making music. Thank you for your legacy, Steve. I wish I could hear your voice again. Rest in Piece, my friend.

Unvergessen. Die Stimme. Die Performanz. Und der feinfühlige Mann, der immer auf dem Boden geblieben ist. Wir vermissen Dich.

You're not here anymore, but you're still with us in your songs and music, in the hearts of people you brought joy and strength.
You left so early, so full of life. I often watch "Made in Switzerland"—such an amazing concert, the atmosphere piercing the screen.
Miss you, Steve. And thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I'm a 39ys old musician from São Paulo, Brasil, and unfortunately I only knew about Gotthard in 2014. Steve Lee's voice had and has such a huge importance in my life, that it even inspired me to improve my singing, and nowadays I can say I'm a singer. My vocal quality is more Snarly than Raspy, but if it wasnt for singers like Steve Lee, Ronnie Dio and Bruce Dickinson, probably I'd never had such inspirations. But mainly/specialy Gotthard and Steve Lee were "responsible" for my inspirations. Steve, may you rest in peace and may God embrace you in His arms. You will always be present in each life you inspired, such as me. Two of the songs for this moment here: "All I Care For" and "And Then Goodbye". R.I.P, Steve Lee.
