Steve Lee, such talent, such emotion and such power coming from his voice, captivated me and many others. It is most unfair that a source of inspiration, creativity and art has to fade away immediately but I know, as well as others, that the heavens will give great shelter to you.

Thank you for every great song you have given us, which now will become even more meaningful.

I was on my way to St. George at the same time and was right behind the group a few miles. We were stopped on the freeway for over 1 hour as we could see the helicopter landing and trying to save the life of Steve. I have driven the road many times but have not seen anything as sad as this . Our hearts go out to all who loved him. RIP ROCKER 1

Wir sind traurig.
Noch können wir es kaum glauben, dass Steve Lee auf so tragische Weise viel zu früh sterben musste. Wir können es nicht glauben, dass er nicht mehr ist. Er hinterlässt eine grosse Lücke für uns Fans. Er hinterlässt eine unersetzbare, riesengrosse Lücke in seiner Familie, bei seiner Band, seiner Freunden und seiner grossen Liebe Brigitte.
Wir denken in unser Trauer ganz fest an die Angehörigen von Steve Lee. Wir wünschen ihnen viel Kraft und Unterstützung für die Zeit des Trauerns, des Loslassens und für die Zukunft.

Wir danken Steve Lee dafür, was er uns mit seiner Musik mit Gotthard hinterlässt. Ein wundervolles Erbe für alle Gotthard Fans.

Ich bin nach wie vor sprachlos, traurig, enttäuscht und ich frage mich immer wieder: warum??
Für die sehr schwere Zeit wünsche ich Brigitte, der Band, der Familie und den Freunden von Steve viel Kraft, Geduld und Zuversicht.
Ich bin mir ganz sicher, das Steve, da wo er jetzt ist, gut aufgenommen wurde und es schön hat.

Dear Steve

You had touched us with your beautiful voice, your personality and music. Gotthard was number one, and it still is.
We had plans .... it`s far to travel from northern Norway, but the plan was at least one concert a year in many, many years ..... But it was not God's plan. He took you away from us ......
You will always be in our hearts, the music will live forever and the memories ...
We have been fortunate to have met you, seen you on stage several times and felt the energy that you spread.
Our thoughts are with your family and all your dear friends.
Rest in peace, Steve. We will always love you.
