Liebe Angehörige, liebe Hinterbliebende.

Wenn eine Band ein Mitglied verliert ist das schlimm. Wenn es dann noch ein Sänger wie Steve ist, ist es eine Tragödie!
Leider habe ich ihn nie persönlich kennen gelernt sondern nur live auf den Konzerten erlebt - ein großartiger Mensch mit einer wahnsinns Stimme!
Mit seinem Tod hat die Welt - auf tragische Weise - einen großen Sänger, Musiker und Songwriter verloren.

Ich hoffe aber, Gotthard irgendwann wieder live on stage erleben zu können - auch wenn es nie mehr so wie vorher sein wird...

Vor einigen Jahren haben Saxxon ein Lied zu Ehren aller vestorbenen Rock 'n' Roller geschrieben:

Steve, all of the band... I heard the news yesterday at Scorpions Show in Nantes, (in France a lot of people don't know what a great band you are, and what wonderful voice Steve had/have... that's why i heard the news later...)
Actually I can't stop crying... I saw you guys in Paris at "La Maroquinerie" and I'll keep this moment deep inside my heart! Steve, the voice, the lyrics... one life one soul lyrics... "you are the wind in my sail in a ocean so wild" those words make me cry each time Steve sing them with his wonderful voice. God!
I hope you guys can go on, i don't how, but please continue steve's dream, across your music, Gotthard runs deep inside my veins, heart and mind!
