I am truly saddened by this news. My thoughts and prayers go out to Steve's family and friends. Living in Connecticut, USA I have never had the chance to see Gotthard Live and see Steve perform but I own all the cd's. Steve will live on in all the amazing albums he has been a part of. We will miss him dearly, he was an amazing singer who delivered songs with such emotion.

12 Tage ist es jetzt schon her, dass du uns verlassen hast... 12 Tage voller Trauer und einer unerträglichen Leere. Und trotzdem wirst du in unseren Herzen immer weitersingen.

Bei der heutigen Trauerfeier auf dem Gotthard kann ich leider nicht dabei sein, doch in Gedanken bin ich bei allen Fans und Angehörigen und trauere mit.

So schnell kann es gehen... niemand hätte so etwas gedacht.
Du warst einer der besten Sänger, und deine Leider werden wir NIE vergessen.

Hey guys,

I probably wasn't the greatest ever fan - altough the Defrosted Tour gig in Montreux will always remain one of the greatest concerts I saw and I've seen a few - but nevertheless I know how it feels to lose a loved one.

Godspeed Steve, may the angels treat you well and sing with you.

Brigitte and the Band, may life spare you all other pains and let you mend your broken hearts together.
