Ich war gerade auf mein PC, hat mich ein Gottard CD geholt und bin gleichzeitig bei eure Webseite gelandet um einfach zu wissen wann und wo eure nächste Konzert stattfinden werden. Mein erste geschenkt meine Freundin war eure Konzert. Sie könnte euch gar nicht und hörst normaleweise diese Musik nicht. Und jetzt spiel Sie das ganze regelmaßig auf sein iPod ein.

Und was erfahre ich jetzt, diese traurige Nachricht. Diese frohliche Figure on Stage wird uns fällen. Ich wünsche euch alle viel Erfolg in eure Neue Projekt.

Steve Lee, singer for a famous swiss band called Gotthard, which I accidentally stumbled upon after hearing his amazing performance on Ayreon's 01011001-album, after which I immediately got hooked on Gotthard.

I had the amazing privilege of meeting Steve after a Gotthard-show in the Netherlands, and after giving everything to the audience, he was in the audience afterwards, giving it all to his fans, talking to all of us, while he must have been tired.

This is the way I want to remember him, as a showman, an amazing singer, someone who was every bit a musician. He will be missed, and I know I'm speaking not only for myself but for my friends as well. To all of his relatives, his friends and his bandmates of Gotthard I wish all the best coming to terms with this tragic loss.
