Caros: Com muita tristeza e pesar, recebemos no Brasil a notícia através da rádio Kiss Fm onde a banda esteve em 2006, onde foi cordial com todos.Estou triste pois é uma das melhores bandas que surgiram nos ultimos anos. Rezaremos para que Deus acolha ao Steve, pois a sua passagem na terra criou muita admiração em quem acompanhou e acompanha o trabalho da banda. A família e aos membros da banda que Deus lhes dê muita força para superar este momento.

Steve and Gotthard were one of the most big influences I had in music. Watching and listening to them a enormous will to be a musician grew inside of me. And very sad with all of this. It's just non-sense. Totally unexpectable. Someone like Steve, who would still create great rock in a century where this style is not one of the most famous anymore, would surely make great difference. I already miss you Steve. Rest in peace. I wil continue to hear your incredible singing for all my life. My kids will learn how a great singer does his job when listening to you. Gotthard forever. Steve Lee forever. Always.
