Whenever I was sad, upset, or down, I played one of the many great songs sung by Steve. His great warm, powerful and strong voice only gave me strength an joy to keep on going. I will never understand why gifted people like him have to live. There will never be a more passionate, vibrant and extraordinary vocalist like him. You will always be in my heart, my car's stereo, my player, my PC, where ever there is something to bring your voice to my ears. The world is much more a better place since your voice first started to sing. You are already immortal. Give God a great show.

Ich bin tief traurig und spreche der ganzen Familie, Brigitte und den Bandmitgliedern mein Beileid aus. Die grösste Stimme im schweizer Rockzirkus wird uns allen sehr fehlen.

in questo momento non trovo ancora le parole giuste da dire perché ancora non riesco a spiegarmi come sia potuta accadere una disgrazia simile.. forse un giorno riuscirò a comprenderlo, ma al momento è veramente dura da accettare.

Desideravo esprimere le mie più sentite condoglianze a familiari, amici e conoscenti, e in particolare ai membri della band, ai quali voglio essere vicino in questo momento difficile.

Resterai sempre nei nostri cuori Steve... non solo come un grande musicista, ma soprattutto come una grandissima persona.
