This is indeed sad,sad news.I recieved the news from mutual friends in Switzerland yesterday and was so crushed to hear this.Having worked with Gottard in the nineties,I got to know Steve well and I must say he was a great guy and one of the greatest rock singers out there. To all the other band members, family and friends my thoughts are very much with you at this time.Rest in peace Steve

Ruhe in Frieden finde dein Piece of Heaven

Honor them!!

I've seen Gotthard many times; and in Steve Lee they had one of the finest vocalists and frontmen on the planet. To be taken so young, and in such a way, is hard to comprehend.

He's left a legacy of amazing music and some fabulous memories - most recently for me at The Garage in London earlier this year. He will be greatly missed by all of us who love this style of music; but mostly my thoughts go out to Steve's wife, family, bandmates and friends.

RIP, Steve - and thank you for so much great music.
