Hello, Steve.

I didn't like Gotthard very much, but your voice was incredibly beautiful. You were such an amazing vocalist and a very good showman, and i'll miss you, not only because your band and your voice, but your incredible personality and down-to-earth.

My idol Hideto Matsumoto (a japanese musician and guitarist) died several years ago, so i hope you meet him in heaven and tell him I will miss you both.

Immer noch zutiefst erschüttert und traurig wünsche ich allen Angehörigen viel Kraft für die kommende Zeit. Es ist unfassbar, was da passiert ist!
Viel zu früh musste Steve von uns gehen. Ich hatte die Ehre und das Glück, ihn persönlich kennenzulernen.
Was bleibt sind Erinnerungen an viele tolle Konzerte! In der Musik und in unseren Herzen wird Steve weiterleben, wir werden ihn nie vergessen!

C'est avec consternation que j'ai appris le décès de Steve. Je garderais de lui le souvenir du chanteur qui m'a le plus impressionné dans ma vie, tant par sa formidable voix que par la gentillesse qu'il dégageait.
Je garderai de lui un souvenir impérissable.
Il est mort de sa passion, espérons que vous tous pourrez trouvez la force pour surmonter cette catastrophe.
