It was back in 1992 when I first heard your heavenly voice and the marvellous music of Gotthard. I was just six years old, but I spent my childhood between dolls and rock records. My brothers used to play "all I care for" on the guitar ..I was blown away and your music has gone hand by hand with my life.
Losing an idol is sad, but losing a person you had the chance to meet is tragic.
I remember when I first met you and you called me "gene simmons" because of my bag: you were always smiling, kind and easygoing. You were a star in your homeland, you had the most touching voice, you got everything a man coud wish for, but you were different from all the other "rockstars" because you were humble.
You never refused to sign an autograph or to take a picture with your fans, you were always there for them. That's what I will miss..your spontaneity, your humbleness, your verve.
I still havent' realized that you're gone for real, and it will take some time.
The last time you play in Italy you were joking as usual and told me not to cry, that everything goes...we all burst out laughing, but believe me, dear Steve, right now I can't stop crying.
Because when you left, a piece of my life left with you. This is so unfair...
Whenever I listen to your songs I'll know that your voice really came from heaven.
My condolences to his family and friends, to all the guys in the band, and to Brigitte.
Rest in peace, dear Steve, we'll miss you so much.
