Es ist für mich immer noch nicht realisierbar, dass Steve nicht mehr bei uns sein soll. Wieso hat Gott dieses Schicksal zugelassen? Mit Steve hat uns einer der drei besten Sänger dieser Welt und ein aufrichtiger, ehrlicher Mensch verlassen. Ich hoffe er rockt im Himmel mit soviel Spaß weiter, wie er es auf Erden getan hat. Dieser Verlust ist nicht in Worte zu fassen.
Doch er hat uns nicht ganz verlassen. Seine Musik bleibt und immer wenn wir einen Song von ihm hören, wird er in unserem Herzen sein.

Mein aufrichtiges Beileid geht an seine Familie, seine Lebensgefährtin und an die Bandkollegen.

I was stunned and deeply saddened when I read the news of Steve's passing. Through internet technology I discovered Gotthard in 2005 and immediately began collecting Gotthard CD's and DVDs, and have been a huge fan ever since. Steve's vocals are amazing and the emotion he sings with is second to none and makes for enjoyable, addictive, and memorable songs. It's been said that that music and song are the soundtracks of our lives, and Steve and Gotthard has proven to been that for me. My heart goes out to Leo, Marc, Hena, and Freddy, and Steve's family and friends. Steve and Gotthard have a lot of caring fans in the USA who share this loss.

Steve, you will be missed...and always remembered as your music will live on. Thank you Steve.
