It came as a great shock learning of Steve's passing, listening to Gotthard in the morning, discovering that he has passed away in the evening upon returning home.
I took people such as him, such as Ronnie James Dio, another favourite vocalist of mine who passed away, for granted, thinking of them as timeless rock-titans who would be here to bless us with their music forever. And maybe I'm right to an extent - Steve Lee, the man, may have passed away, but Steve Lee ,the music, will live on forever.
Goodbye, Steve, thank you for the good times.
