I just opened up the Wikipedia page for Gotthard to share the information with my colleague, when the starting paragraph caught my eye and made me wince with anguish and disbelief... I must say that the world, and Steve's relatives in the first place, have lost a Genius. This is sad, so sad that I can't go on with this message... I must just express my grief and most heart-felt condolence for the one who's been blowing millions of minds since 1992...

I just learned about Steve's death... I still can't Believe It. To me he was not only one of the best singers out there but the best. One of my dreams, was to watch Gotthard with Steve perform live, sadly here in Venezuela that was almost impossible, now it's completely impossible.

I Hope you're doing fine wherever you are, my friend. Your voice always touched my heart and will always do it.

Ich war zu tiefst geschockt als ich dich Nachricht bekam das Steve tot ist! Ich konnte es nicht fassen wieso das man genau so einen Menschen aus seinem wunderbaren Leben reissen musste. Er war so ein toller Mensch und hatte so eine bezaubernde Stimme. Es ist unfassbar was passiert ist. Ich bewundere Brigitte und Marc wie sie so gefasst vor die medien gestanden sind. Immer wen ich die Musik von Gotthard höre kommen mir die Tränen und ich bin zu tiefst berührt! Ich wünsche besonders Brigitte der und Band und besonders der Familie von Steve alles gute ind den schweren Stunden ohne ihren geliebten Steve und viel Kraft!
