I saw an angel crying
And black Death in the field walking
a sad song in the paradise singing
and a cold autumn to the Earth sending

It took someone special of the world
wise and good man
God gave him a talent, scarse voice
and warm, human brightness into his soul

The angel is crying, doesn't want to go back to the heavens,
because he would have to loose all his songs
No, they are hidden in our hearts
And his sins are washed out forever

He brought love and joy to people
he gave us back health and youth
there won't be another concert on the Earth
he is already singing chorale of angels in the heaven

Homerun or Heaven sounds loudly from the sky
and suddenly our soul is clear
a good music stays by us forever
and all bad is banished from the world

R.I.P. Steve Lee

Another sad day in history of rock, and music in general.
Today (10-28) I read the news of Steve's death in Aardschok (a dutch rock/heavy metal magazine)

I'd like you all to know that Gotthard meant a lot to me, I always sing along with the songs in the car ;-) That is something that will remain, for sure!

And then, after the first shock, I start to realize how fragile life really is. Yet it comforts me to read how happy Steve was on the US-trip.

Someone taught me, a few years ago, that those who die are not gone. They live on in the people they loved and cared for. Only then one is gone, when we, the relatives and the fans around the world are all gone.
Let's celebrate Steve's life, and let his music live on until the end of time.

Accept my heartfelt sympathy.
I wish you all strength in the hard moments that lie ahead of you.

It´s whith great sadness i recive the news that Steve has gon way
i think beeing vocal lover that Steve had one of the best vocals in the bussines right ther with David Coverdale AND a Paul Rodgers.
My thougts goes to his family, friends and Band.

Steve Lee you will be missed but never forgotten.
See you in heaven.
