It´s been some months till it happened...and I still think about it very hardly when I listen to Gotthard´s music...and specially, when I listen Steve´s great voice. I discovered them thanks to a friend, and by the time I knew Gotthard, I just started to feel that their music was the best that I´ve ever heard, I couldn´t stop to put their songs at home and on my mp3 when I was going anywhere. I was sure that after knowing them, the first chance that I had to see them in concert was going to be for me very special. And in Novemebr of 2009 I went to see Gotthard live. It was great, I enjoyed it so much, and I went alone, cause een if I had no one to come with me, I just wanted to see Gotthard.
The day that I knew about Steve´s dead was really hard for me, and I stayed so sad for some days. I tried to listen to Gotthard and it was hard to think that his voice was not going to be heard live anymore, that the voice that I was listening to could be played only in my mp3 or whatever.
I realised about how great live can be, cause Steve was on a trip that had been his dream for years, and suddenly, an accident changes everything and your life becomes hell. I can´t imagine how hard is this being for his family and friends, but I know how hard it´s for me, and it´s really really hard.
Just say that he got happiness and also made people and fans happy, cause everything we saw when he was in a concert, his behaviour on stage, was for sure the same that he had as a person, so great, so nice, so happy, smiling, and apart of having fun, making people having fun too.
Steve was great, and we have Gotthard´s music to remember it. In our hearts he´s still alive, and we can feel him closer with just pushing the play button and listening to some of his music. Unfortunately we lost the greatest voie, but at least, his legend will remain forever. Steve, we don´t forget you, always Gotthard!!!!
