I saw Steve and Gotthard only once live.
I deeply regret but also I feel lucky for having that unique but intense occasion.
It was impossible not to feel his charisma as entertainer and his sensitivity as person and friend.

I think all music lovers have lost something with the death of Steve, one of the clean and noble faces of rock music.

Hi, I was so sorry to learn of Steve's death. I still cannot really believe it. I only discovered Gotthard last year, as they were getting ready to release Need To Believe, and I was overjoyed to see that they were coming to London. It was gig of the year for me and Steve was incredible, effortlessly hitting all the high notes and reaching out to us. I remember thinking that here was one of rock's truly great frontmen. It is a memory that I will cherish forever. RIP Steve :'-(
