There are no words for this loss... I'm still in shock and still don't really realize that he's gone... Since the first notes of the first Gotthard song I ever heard I got enchanted and amazed and Steve Lee became my greatest example, my biggest influence and my motivation to improve as a musician. The charismatic performence in combination with (in my opinion) the best voice in rock 'n roll made him my hero. Now that he is gone, there is a painful empty whole inside me and though I never had the honour to meet him, it feels like losing a friend and it really hurts like hell...

My condolences to his family, the bandmembers from Gotthard and all his other friends and close ones. I wish you all the strength to deal with this terrible loss and know that, though I'm all the way from Holland, I try to support you in my own way as much as I can.

Rest in peace, Steve. I hope you'll find your piece of heaven...

e chi riesce a trovare le parole in un momento come questo?? purtroppo la morte arriva inaspettata, a volte quando meno uno se l'aspetti, ed altre ancora colpisce quei personaggi che sembrano intoccabili come il nostro Steve, e ancor più lui degli altri perchè era una persona buona, gentile, disponibile...era uno di noi!
Presto ci rivedremo tutti di la e tu canterai ancora per noi!!! nel frattempo in questo mondo la tua leggenda vivrà in eterno!

Ich bin traurig.Es ist so unbegreiflich.So ein Schicksahl.Ich kenne Gotthard noch nicht lange.Es war in Hannover als Deep Purple dort auftrat.Aus der Vorhalle hörte ich die Vorgruppe spielen.Ich sagte: Wer ist das? Das hört sich gut an. Es war wie Liebe auf den ersten Blick. In Osnabrück konnte ich Gotthard noch einmal hautnah live erleben.Ich war total begeistert.Ich lauerte schon auf das nächste Konzert.Die Musik wird in meinem Herzen weiterleben und wird mir an guten und an schlechten Tagen immer mit dem passenden Song zur Seite stehen.
