Dear Friends
It was during the tour with U.D.O. which I first heard the Gotthard.
But it was only at the Sweden Rock Festival, which I completely grip of the great sounds of the Gotthard and Steve's amazing vocal ability. Many bands today do not understand the importance of a good singer. The music I heard was my very personalized, the music, song and emotion conveyed described my personality in a very good way. The news of Steve's death feels very personal.
I saw you then play in Gothenburg in 2009, which also was a fantastic experience.
The news of Steve's death took me with sadness and tears. Can not understand why this band that I have come to worship perhaps there will be more. At least not in the format that I know Gotthard.
With this text, I send my thoughts to Steve's family and the band.
Although the grief is heavy, so is the joy that Steve spread Among fans and others so much larger and that is what we should rejoice and remember a heavy period like this.
To the members of the Gotthard, I would say, try to get back even if it feels heavy. I think Steve would have liked this. Do you not there so is the joy you have spread along somehow undone work.
