es ist so unendlich traurig, so einen guten menschen und künstler zu verlieren.. doch in millionen von herzen wird er weiterleben..!!

To all of Steves family and friends,to Leo,Marc,Freddy,Hena and everyone in the Gotthard organisation (especialy Hilde and Poul) my familys deepest sympathy at the loss of onof THE great singers and frontmen ever in Rock music!!!
I was honoured to meet Steve and the band and he and the guys where so fantastic to my wife and i before the bands gig in manchester last year!!!
I am still stunned and feel like a little bit of all of us died with Steves passing,he nd the band where a true inspiration to so many of us and Steves wonderful voice will live in our hearts forever!!!
Steve and Leo played a acoustic version of 'NOTHING LEFT AT ALL' for me in Manchester after Steve asked me how i had got into the bands music and i explained about that song but i had never heard it played live!!! That summoned up Steve and why it feels so sad now and like a death in my own family as thats what being a G fan is like in being part of a huge family!!!!!
RIP Steve you shall be so so sadly missed by so many of us all over the world!!!!

Sono ancora incredula per questa notizia.
Ho conosciuto questa band....e la bellissima voce di Steve lo scorso anno in concomitanza del tour che i Gotthard hanno fatto con gli Europe ( band che seguo da anni).........
Mi sono appassionata alle canzoni......a quella voce graffiata e potente che sapeva regalare emozione........
Sono enormemente addolorata......
Non meritava di andarsene via da questa terra così presto......
Il destino è stato crudele......
Riposa in pace Steve....ovunque tu sia....
La tua voce....la tua musica....non morirà mai ....e rimarrà nei nostri cuori ......per SEMPRE......
