I am following Gotthard since 1992 and it got my favourite band among all others...

I hope you have found your piece of heaven. The rock has lost a wonderful person that fought against stupid commercial music by providing what the public really wanted.

We will never forget you...

On behalf of my family who have loved and supported Gotthard since the beginning, may we express our deepest condolences to Steve's family, his fellow band members and all his friends. We have tragically lost one of the best songwriter and voice in rock - a true gentleman who was always smiling and close to the fans.
It is hard for all rock fans to come to terms with this tragedy so soon after Ronnie James Dio's death. It is with a sad and heavy heart that I play Gotthard on my way to work today - one life , one soul gone. Steve will live forever through the music of Gotthard.
