Danke für die fantastische 18 Jahre mit Gotthard,die Musik,die Live Shows und dich als Person, die ich erleben und hören durfte!
schockierend war es zuhören im Radio über Deinen Tod!
Du warst unser Grösser Rockstar den wir kennen und hatten!
Mein tieftes beileid an die Familie und Bandmitglieder!

A great singer, a great person... now is sitting beside God and watching for all of us, he is now just like he says in one of his songs: in "One Life, One Soul".

God bless you Steve and all of your family. Let the light of the Lord guide you. We already miss you.

Eine große Stimme der Rockmusik, eine charismatische Person, ist viel zu früh von uns gegangen. Ich bin traurig und trauere mit der Familie und der Band: May he live forever in his music.

Menschen zu verlieren die man liebt, hinterläßt immer Narben. Diese Narben sind aber auch Spuren, die diese Menschen in unseren Herzen hinterlaßen. Die traurige und tragische pushnachricht hat mich aus dem Schlaf gerißen. Es ist unfaßbar, daß so liebe und herzensgute Menschen so, bzw., viel zu früh gehen müßen. Steve konnte nicht mal seinen Lebenstraum mit seiner Brigitte und Freunden zu Ende bringen. Der Trauerfamilie mein tiefstes Beileid und herzliche Anteilnahme, in stiller Trauer angel

I only recently discovered Gotthard as they are relatively unknown here in the UK (criminal, I know) but their fantastic songs soon became first choice driving and working out music and always giving me exeptional pleasure.
I would have to single out "Anytime, Anywhere" as my favourite, Steve Lee's voice giving the song it's majestic gravitas.
I attended FM's concert in Manchester yesterday (7/10/10) and tribute was fittingly paid to Steve Lee at the end of the show with three cheers and I can tell you: I made my voice heard.
