I am writing this letter in an attempt to make a connection and make sense with those who understand this great loss we have all suffered.
Most of the people I know, never had the pleasure of hearing Gotthard, or Steve's wonderful voice. It is because of this I feel this need to reach out, to those of you who know.
As a fan of Gotthard's music, it is inconceivable that the band has possibly come to an end.
But as devastating as it if for us, on the outside circle.
It can only be monumentally more painful for those who were able to be a part of his everyday life. If any of you take the time to read this, I hope you know there are those out here in this world, very far away from you that wish to support you in your time of loss, and wish to let you know that you are not alone.
The magic of music has touch the lives of more people that you can possible imagine. As I write this letter, I am currently about 25 miles from Mount Hood, in Oregon, United State of America.
Just one soul in the world touched by this magical band, with their magical music.
If there were a way you could take each one of us who was moved by the greatness of what this band has given us, and light a candle, i am sure if seen from above the light would be blinding.
Steve's music will forever touch the hearts of those of us who have had the great pleasure of hearing the magic of his voice.
I feel for your devistating loss, and wish there was some way we can change what had happened, to reverse this tragedy. Since that is not possible, i will do what i can to spread the word and music of this wonderful artist, to those who have not heard of them yet.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Matt
