From Spain I read the dramatic news and I only can say that I feel the lost of Steve, one of the best vocals that I never lisen and probably one great man too.
If heaven is a real place, Steve is now sing there...I'm sure

Ich möchte allen Hinterbliebenen, vor allem aber Brigitte Voss-Balzarini und den Bandmitgliedern, mein herzlichstes Beileid aussprechen. Steve wird mir für immer als einer der Besten (wenn nicht der Beste...) (Rock-)Sänger der Schweiz in Erinnerung bleiben. Ich kann es immer noch nicht fassen. Seine wunderschönen Balladen und auch die rockigeren Songs werden mir fehlen...
Ich wünsche der Familie und auch den Bandmitgliedern ganz viel Kraft und Zuversicht für die kommende Zeit.

Steve you were one of the finest hard rock voices ever, and most important, a beautiful soul, always there for his fans and friends, asking for a picture or an autograph, whatever it was rain or shine... a GIANT... in every meaning of the word... my thoughts are with Brigitte and your bandmates, as well as all your loved ones... may they have the strength to carry on, your voice and smile will shine in our hearts forever... we miss you....
