Its hard to describe how we feel. There are so many feelings: shock... pain... fear... sadness... anger... emptiness... And always the question WHY? We will never get an answer to that question and its so hard to loose such a great and wonderful person. The break Steve leaves is so huge and will never be able to be closed. His loss is unbelievable and it hurts so much... To know that he was so happy in his last days is just a little comfort but good to know that is was like this. Steve will live on in his music and the music of Gotthard and we will keep him in our hearts - forever.
All our deep sympathy and our heartfelt thoughts are with Brigitte & Steves family and all his friends, first of all Marc, Leo, Freddy, Hena and Nicolo. We wish all of you a lot of energy for these hard times...

Als ich die Nachricht im Internet lass, wollte ich es nicht glauben. Bis jetzt kommt es mir vor, wie ein schlechter, böser Traum.... Gigtermine von Gotthard standen fest in meinem Kalender...

Mir verbleibt nur "Danke" zu sagen, für viele große Songs und Livemomente, die ich mit Euch als Zuhörer und Fan erleben durfte.

I am terribly shocked, i still cannot believe this. Steve was probably the best Rock singer of this time, his powerful and soulful voice was the winner of the melodic rock scene and and this is terrible, sad.... I have no words to describe how I feel.

Steve your voice and your energy as a musician and as a person will be always here with us and I hope you continue singing up very high and clear wherever you are...

Ich wünsche Euch viel Kraft um diesen grossen Verlust zu verkraften. Steve Lee war ein grosser Rocksänger. Ich fass es heute noch nicht. Jedesmal wenn ich den Name Steve Lee im Radio höre, läuft es mir kalt den Rücken runter. I miss you Steve Lee!!
