I can't tell you how sick I am at this news. Gotthard quickly became one of my favorite bands after first listen, thanks to Melodicrock. Rock and Roll, I mean REAL Rock and Roll, was and in some ways still is dead in America. I can never find the words to tell you how happy I was when I fell upon the Melodicrock web site and discovered that great bands were still out there practically everywhere except in the US. And I can never express how my heart jumped with joy when I discovered bands that were as kick ass as Gotthard. I think I even ticked Andrew McNiece off one time when I told him that Steve has a far better voice then one of his other favorite singers. Be that as it may, the world has tragically lost a superstar of music. Not only because of his voice, but his many other talents as well. It's ironic to me, that he lost his life in my own country. Thank you Steve, for the many many hours of joy you have brought, and will continue to bring me for many years to come. I will miss you.

The worst just happened ... life can be so cruel ...

A great guy has passed away. Steve, it was a pleasure to meet you, an amazing voice, you always had fun on stage, a shared pleasure. I always liked to see you on stage with the rest of the band. You have always been close to your fans, I can not imagine that you're gone.

I can not imagine my future without Gotthard.

Thank you for all the happiness you have given to me. You were always there for me through your music, during the good or bad times.

God, please take care of him.

I present my condolences to Steve's family and Henna, Leo, Fred, Mark and Nicolo.

Your words helped me three years ago when I went through massive changes in my life. Your live perfomances were electric. I will never forget seeing you at Firefest in Nottingham in 2006. I have never witnessed such command of an audience in all my 57 years. Steve, you truly were one of the greats. Irrepleaceable :-( R.I.P.
