It was with great sadness that I learned of this tragedy.

Nothing more to say that I'm devastated. Steve meant so much to me. I Was, and still am a huge fan of Gotthard and Steve's magical voice. Seeing them live with Deep Purple was definitely a personnal highlight of 2009, I was so happy to finally see the legend in real life. Getting One Life One Soul this night achieved to make it a wonderful night.

All I can feel now is sadness, tears come to my eyes when I hear Gotthard songs, but I still play them and remember how great Steve was, how much emotion was put in each song. He had truly one of the greatest voice of all time and having seen him live just makes it hard to admit. One of my hero is dead.

I will never forget him, he will always remain in my heart. Peace, and rock on Steve !
